Introduction:

If you own a smartphone or even some computers, you've more than likely have encountered Barry Steakfries and Jetpack Joyride before. The game has now been ported to PS3 and PS Vita and it comes with a trophy list. The game is very simple and there's no need to worry about glitched or missable trophies. Be sure not to mistake it with the "minis" version of Jetpack Joyride also on the PlayStation Store. Basically you must touch or tap your way through a randomised course and get as far as possible. You've likely played something like this before and you should pick the gameplay up quickly. If you've ever played this game on another platform, you may recognise some of the trophies. They work much the same as any other version. You should also note that there are in-game achievements that aren't related to the trophies.

Note Regarding Microtransactions:

This game contains a microtransaction feature. You don't need to spend any money to obtain 100%, but is will speed up the process dramatically. Simply access The Stash after the game or from the main menu and then tap Get Coins. The Counterfeit Machine is reasonably cheap and it doubles your coins. If you want to spend a little to make coins twice as fast, I'd recommend this. The best value pack is the Coin Ultimate Pack. If you purchase this, you'll get 1,000,000 coins and you'll be able to purchase everything right away. This is quite expensive but it's the fastest way to 100% as it makes "All the things!" significantly shorter in terms of time to unlock. I'd also recommend purchasing everything before playing to make things easier. This will also mean that you will complete step 3 of the Road Map prior to step 2. Please note that all coin packs aren't available in all regions.

Step 1: The Quick, Simple Trophies:

Four of the game's twelve trophies are very simple and can be unlocked within a few minutes of playing. If you have any trouble with these trophies, please refer to the individual trophy description in the Trophy Guide. By the end of this step, you should obtain the following trophies:

 Happy Snap

 Good Work, Woody

 Good Work, Sierra

 Good Work, Muscat

Step 2: Playing The Game:

If you've ever played the game on a smartphone before, you'll feel right at home on the Vita, and if you've ever played the game on PC, the PS3 isn't too different. The gameplay is the same across all platforms. A couple of differences are that the Vita version is playable with the rear touch pad and some of the backgrounds are a little different. Even if you've never played the game, it's not a difficult concept to pick up. Input via touch of a button will allow you to ascend, and letting go will descend, with the exception of some vehicles. The aim is to get as far as possible and to collect coins. Some of these trophies are skill based, such as "Alpha Romeo Delta", while others with unlock over the course of playing, such as "Marathon". After a while, you should get a feel of things and you'll be ready to take on some of the harder trophies. By the end of this step, you should obtain the following trophies:

 Romeo Alpha Delta

 A Man, My Son

 High Roller

Step 3: Purchasing

Jetpack Joyride has numerous things you can puchase in "The Stash" such as clothing, jetpacks, vehicle upgrades and gadgets. You must purchase everything to obtain 100%. This doesn't include ultilities however. If you've purchased coins using real money, this is a very simple step. Just buy everything from the clothing, jetpacks, vehicle upgrades and gadgets sections. If you don't want to spend any money, this is a huge grind. You should buy the vehicle magnets and the coin magnets as soon as possible to speed up the process. By the end of this step, you should obtain the following trophies:
